My name is Melvin and I was found in San Jose. No one ever came to claim me so the shelter called rescue to come and get me. My eyes were really yucky when rescue got me, but with some medication and now just daily eye drops to help me produce enough tears things are looking up (for real).I can see again!!! I also had loads of these itchy things called fleas when they found me so I have a patch or two of missing hair from that but I am now growing new hair in. The vet thinks I was born with a crooked part in my lower spine which makes me walk really slowly but I get around fine. Just not a fast mover. I am a very small boy, 45 lbs so I am not hard to pick up. I love attention and am following my foster mom everywhere. I really want a quiet home where people will be patient with me and will want a quiet, slow moving boy that will love them forever. If you are looking for someone to chase a ball, climb lots of stairs, or take to a dog park, it isn't me.
