Chico

I received Chico from this rescue, he was the best dog I could ever ask for. He brought so much happiness to my life when I needed it, I miss him every day. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have been given this special gift of being able to share my life with such an amazing dog that touched my heart in such a way that I will never forget.

Chico developed a heart condition and after 6 months of medication and medical care he went to sleep and did not wake up. My one peace of mind is that he did not suffer and that he is at peace.

This donation is a collection from the special team of people that I work with at Red Door Spa Inc that collected money the day they found out about Chico’s passing. They had the chance to meet Chico as I brought him to work with me on a few occasions and they too knew how special he was and that he came from this organization.

Chico touched so many lives as he had a special way about him he was even a favorite at that vet, as he loved to go for his checkups. I used to joke that the vet was his girlfriend because when he saw her he would just melt and want to sit in her lap. He made you smile just by being around him, he was such a special dog that he is truly missed by all who had the chance to meet him.

Chico was one of kind and I miss him every day and I am truly grateful for the time we shared together he brought so much joy to my life and that is something that I will cherish forever.
